Directly supervise hourly Team Members performing manufacturing operations. Responsible for a variety of manufacturing processes and equipment. Manage all aspects of production to ensure safety, quality, delivery and productivity goals are achieved.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities:

Provide motivational leadership and direction to all 2


shift Team Members to achieve Safety, Quality, Delivery and Productivity goals while enhancing teamwork.

Assure that capacity levels are maintained to match demand in the short term and long term; participate in long-range planning and budget preparation.

Allocate the necessary resources to meet external and internal commitments while maintaining budgetary control for the value stream.

Develop, communicate and maintain measures of performance to track progress in meeting objectives.

Provide rewards for excellence and take disciplinary action when required.

Ensure employees are fully trained in all aspects of EHS.

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

CPI Improvement Activities

Responsible for continuous improvement deployment within operational process areas; being an innovator of positive change that favorably impacts safety, quality, delivery, and productivity. Effectiveness is measured primarily through value stream metric performance.

Analyze problems, account for variances, drive for root cause and implement improved methods and procedures; create, review and update improvement plans, at a minimum, on a monthly basis.

Cross Functional Support

Work closely with other process supervisors and functional leaders to share resources as required to meet business unit customer commitments and internal performance requirements.

Interface effectively with support team members and team leaders to collectively meet the goals and objectives of Order Fulfillment.

Assist in developing standard work and training material as necessary to support product revisions or new product introduction.


Responsible for on-boarding and training of new Team Members.

Actively cross train Team Members.

Maintain training plans and records that document employees' qualifications to do the work assigned.

Provide training to Team Members as necessary to support product revisions or new product introduction.


Process Owner's Minimum Requirements:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Manufacturing, etc. or ten years related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience

A minimum of five years of experience in manufacturing supervision or equivalent

Knowledge of Lean Concepts

Green Belt or higher certification preferred

Demonstrated success working in a team environment

Experience with implementing/sustaining standard work, forecasting, planning and scheduling

Experience monitoring metrics and identifying/implementing corrective actions

Specific skills, knowledge, and/or licenses:
Positive attitude

Proven communication and interpersonal skills

Demonstrating effectiveness leading a team

Attention to detail required.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products

Established problem solving and analytical abilities

Ability to prioritize
