Local candidates only please. ------------------------ Start Date: 12/17/2012 End Date: 7/31/2013 with potential for extension ------------------------ Here are the details from our client: Our client is seeking a Project Manager to support the IT Infrastructure work.

The role will work on the implementation of an Enterprise IT Service Management solution. The nature of the project is that it is highly complex and very broad in terms of both scope and scale. The project involves multiple external vendors, multiple business units, etc., and project management will require a very senior / experienced professional that has managed large, complex, global-transformation projects in the past. Description of Responsibilities: • Status against the project timeline and milestones • Status of project dependencies • Adjustments to project scope • Risk and risk mitigation alternatives • Communications planning with respect to project activities • Prepare status presentations of project activities and executive summaries of issues requiring stakeholder or executive review • Schedule, facilitate, capture notes and action items Description of Skills: MUST HAVE • Project and Program level experience (solid, foundational PM skills) • IT experience, transformation or system implementation experience.

  • Vendor oversight responsibility. • Enterprise software systems implementation. • Experience in the deployment of Service Now highly desirable. • Enterprise process design / transformation project management • Political acumen – project requires extensive brokering • Ability to run large, energized meetings with competing agendas – must be able to control a room and keep an audience focused • Exceptional executive-level communication skills – must be able to summarize a week ’s worth of work into a collection of executive-consumable bullets • Must be highly methodical with a strong focus on formal project management methodologies – must be prepared to own and control the project plan • Ability to manage through project impediments and exhibit a high level of resourcefulness – must escalate in a timely manner and as appropriate --------------------- This opportunity has extremely specific requirements.
