Our client may look at MN candidates if they cannot find someone in NE. This is a 6 month contract with potential for extensions. Our client does not sponsor H1B Visa°s at this time. Hourly rate is up to $65.00/hr.

Company and Project Information: Our Client is one of the world ’s largest and most dynamic hotel companies. It has a fantastic portfolio of 1,319 hotels in operation and under development, a global footprint covering 81 countries and territories and a powerful set of global brands. Position will be working in IT on projects involving custom software and interfaces between CWT and other vendors. Familiarity with Java preferred.

Another legacy language that is used is called UBS, but the manager stated it is unlikely to find anyone with that knowledge. ***Top 3 Requirements ~ Manages all facets of 2-4 large (100K-1 Million), highly complex IT projects, typically with high priority and/or financial impact. ~ Experience in forecasting budgets. ~ Experience running a steering committee – putting together the slide deck, making sure that all the content is verified and ironed out before the meeting.

Key Responsibilities: • Manages aspects of the project that may include research, analysis, documentation, design/development, testing, problem resolution, training, status reporting, and implementation, project closing and post-rollout review/audit. • Develops project plan schedules, agreements and proposals and ensures timely completion of projects, within budget. • Manages project change. Obtains formal approval of changes and incorporates and communicates changes within project plans as appropriate.

  • Remains aware of potential issues and works to mitigate and manage any risks. Develops, executes and maintains a contingency/risk management plan as appropriate. Manages risks through resolutions. • Ensures projects are completed on time and within budgetary constraints.
  • Develops the financial management plan portion of the project which may include estimating, tracking, and controlling, forecasting and/or reporting project financials. • Serves as liaison between the company and customer in order to ensure that all targets and requirements are met. • Ensures the project scope is clearly communicated to the client and any out of scope work is identified early and impacts assessed. • Keeps appropriate people informed of project progress.
  • Disseminates information on any problems or potential delays. Other Qualifications: • Bachelor°s degree in related field (e.g., business, finance, or technical) or equivalent experience. • 5+ years of project manager experience progressively responsible and successful project management experience, to include management of all aspects and stages of large-scale projects (100K-1 Million).
