Overview:
Responsible for developing and expanding relationships with key, strategic Talyst 340B software and service customers and functioning as a liaison between the customers pharmacy management and operations teams and the Talyst technical 340B account management team. This outwardly facing position requires a unique blend of skills in account management, operations, and sales functions. This role provides a fantastic opportunity to work with progressive, forward-thinking pharmacy leaders at many of the largest and most prestigious health systems in the country. The successful candidate will also function as a key ‘pharmacy expert’ resource internally to the Talyst 340B technical, support, and account management teams. While 340B experience is not required, strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills are a must!

Responsibilities:
  • Lead solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary internal personnel and advocating for both the client and Talyst.
  • Proactively asses, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of 340B split billing and contract pharmacy operational and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop detailed knowledge of other Talyst business units including acute care and long-term care pharmacy.
  • Function as an internal pharmacist resource to the 340B technical team. Regularly create, customize and manage report requests utilizing various data sources
  • Create, implement and follow various procedural workflows and ensure appropriate documentation of processes
  • Work with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies on expanding Talyst’s 340B business
  • Partner with Sales, Sales Operations and Accounting to ensure a positive Talyst reputation amongst our customers
  • Support and promote the Talyst values through positive interactions with both internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis
  • Attend to other initiatives and goals as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in pharmacy with 2-5 years experience. .
  • Excellent analytical, detail-oriented, customer service, organizational, presentation and problem solving skills
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite, especially Excel. Also Word, Outlook and other common office tools.
  • Ability to write and verbally communicate with direct experience interacting with all levels of staff and management within an organization
  • Be able to prioritize tasks and accept working in a fast paced environment without getting overwhelmed
  • The ability to multitask and show a keen eye for detail
  • Success in coaching and guiding customers in a professional environment both remotely and in person
  • Experience working in a goal oriented, delivery focused, and dynamic environment.
Working Conditions:

The job conditions for this position are in a standard office setting. Employees in this position use PC and phone on an on-going basis throughout the day. Regular corporate travel (25-50%) to remote offices, business meetings, events and customer facilities will be required.
