Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to;

This position is responsible for identifying and leading Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) projects on Reman Fuel Systems.

The black belt will monitor warranty trends, identify projects, recruit team members from various organizations, lead failure analysis, and manage the project to resolve warranty and quality issues.

The black belt will regularly communicate progress & results to the key stakeholders.

This position will also be responsible for evaluating component salvage projects & techniques.

This candidate will develop and execute validation plans to ensure salvage projects meet quality and warranty goals.

The position will also be responsible for NPI of their product and will perform necessary print maintenance & releasing to make the product available for stocking.

Travel to the Remanufacturing Facility in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico is required.


Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in an accredited Engineering curriculum (Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering preferred)

7 years minimum work experience on diesel fuel injection system design, development, or test experience

Strong understanding of fuel injector performance & sensitivities to design parameters

Knowledge of fuel injector validation techniques with the ability to create & execute validation plans

Strong analytical & problem solving with the ability to lead injector failure analysis

Understanding of injector build, measurement, & assembly techniques

Strong leadership & project management skills

Strong initiative and follow through

Excellent communication skills

Ability to travel < 20%.

Travel to the Nuevo Laredo, Mexico Remanufacturing Facility is required.
