The primary responsibility of the Account Consultant is to provide sales support for simplex to complex communications product solutions (data, voice, IP, etc.) for Centurylink’s customers. The Account Consultant is a key member of a Sales Support team, who is responsible for Pre-sales support with simplex requests and inquires. As a primary interface with both internal and external customers, the Account Consultant’s Spirit of Service and skills make a positive contribution to the strength of Centurylink’s relationship with our Members in our Channel Alliance program.
•Interact effectively as a team member within Enterprise space and organization to support achievement of sales objectives and deliver Centurylink’s Spirit of Service.
•Partner with Sales, Service and Support personnel to strategically support Channel Alliance Members
•Make accurate and timely decisions based on customer needs and business requirements.
•Develop, maintain and manage customer relationships from the operational to executive levels throughout the organization.
•Ability to effectively represent Centurylink to multiple departments and levels within the Account, by understanding how Centurylink’s products meet their goals.

Basic Job Qualifications:
•5+ years of experience with Centurylink Products and Systems, QC and QCC or related Telecom experience
•Strong interpersonal, communication (oral and written), negotiating, time management and organizational skills
•Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred Job Qualifications:
•Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Knowledge of pre-sales quoting, pricing for business products and services
• Ability to work with a team from a Group emailbox and incoming toll free queue
• Minimum of 3 years experience quoting and pricing business products and services
•Knowledge of Centurylink products, e.g., Voice, Data, IP, VPN, Web Hosting, and CPE is desired
•BS/BA in Business, Liberal Arts, Economics, MIS/CIS, or other related field
