ABOUT THE POSITION

We are currently seeking a dynamic Account Manager to join our team at our office in Cypress, CA. The Account Manager will a wide range of marketing, management and administration support for small and middle market client accounts. Duties include new business development, business retention, client relations, client service, and coordination of ValueOptions® services provided to clients.

Duties include new business development, business retention, client relations, client service, and coordination of ValueOptions® services provided to clients. Position Responsibilities:

Identifying new business opportunities with existing clients; directing and/or contributing to new business proposal submissions;

Participating in design, development and implementation of client benefits programs; ensuring that all relevant ValueOptions® departments have 100% client information to provide service to meet contract standards;

Continually monitoring status of client accounts; proactively assessing client needs, and identifying and resolving problems and responding to client inquiries concerning account management;

Monitoring, gathering information, analyzing and reporting on account status, and program effectiveness, including claims, eligibility, utilization, performance standards, revenue targets; providing reports and analyses to ValueOptions® departments and client management;

Monitoring and assessing quality of services and program design; recommend and support implementation of new programs and/or program design changes to meet client requirements;

Maintaining continual contact with client benefits managers and ValueOptions® department managers regarding account status;

Providing continuous education to clients for appropriate use of ValueOptions® services; provides resource to clients regarding health policies, health legislation, and trends in managed care industry; meet quarterly (minimum) with clients;

Maintaining and supporting client relationships to ensure 100% retention of current ValueOptions®; clients; ensuring that client satisfaction levels are maintained and enhanced;

Meeting 100% of Account Management service standards;

Providing 100% accurate reporting information to clients and to appropriate ValueOptions® management and departments;

Responding to client concerns within 24 hours;

Maintaining signed client contracts, addendums for 100% of clients;

Job Requirements:

Education: High School diploma is required. College degree is preferred.

Relevant Work Experience: At least two years of experience in marketing or account management. The incumbent should have a thorough understanding of business management, including finance, budgeting, and accounting, and knowledge of statistical analysis and computer applications. Some experience in providing clinical services will be beneficial, but not required.
