Assists Adecco Athlete Career Program Recruiters in the implementation of the Team USA Career Program and the Athlete Career Program (ACP) by effectively servicing Olympic/Paralympics sponsor companies, the United States Olympic Committee (USOC), Olympic athletes and retired athletes, and Adecco Group clients in a high quality, efficient and cost-effective manner.
Liaises with Adecco Group North America branches and national sales representatives (primarily within the Adecco USA business unit) to follow-up and assist with athlete placement efforts throughout the United States.
Assists in planning various Adecco and USOC promotional events to promote TUSACP and ACP.
Assists in the creation of internal content about the program for the three monthly OTC newsletters, quarterly Adecco newsletter, US Olympians Association chapter newsletters, and various USOC publications.
Makes customer calls to assigned accounts to communicate new services, resolve problems and assist in planning for staffing requirements.
Performs duties such as responding to emails, phone inquiries, maintaining filing systems ordering office supplies, coordinating business travel and submitting monthly response reports.
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Maintains knowledge of Adecco Group’s operating systems, policies, procedures and guidelines.
Ensures placement activities abide to all laws and regulations and requirements of the sponsor company’s Terms and Conditions or contract.
Manages all recruiting and administrative branch functions of the program including client and athlete payroll inquires, expenses, travel reimbursement, invoices, adjustments, billing, health insurance, risk management. Ensures all Adecco branch processes are being followed.
Works directly with Adecco branches nationwide and national sales team to assist with athlete placements
Works with RCE, RSSC, Boon Group, Lee Hecht Harrison, and Program Management Office to complete required background checks and testing, career counseling, and other required processes. Guides athletes through all processes. Follows-up as necessary with athletes or career coaches.
Maintains statistics and tracking databases on all activities including VIK athlete placements, athlete enrollments, seminars, evaluations and career counseling with Lee Hecht Harrison. Maintains Athlete Career Program and (The United States Athlete Career Program)(TUSACP) hire documents.
Submits monthly healthcare benefit bill backs for all TUSACP athletes.
Works directly with 45 National Governing Bodies in organizing and planning seminars and program participation, recruiting for the seminars, organize facilitation and guest speaking appearances.
Maintains records of seminar evaluations and participants attendance. Follows-up with seminar participants about ACP program. Processes and sends general correspondence.
Assists with management of ACP website and online job board.
Ensures excellent customer service to clients by problem solving and proactively monitoring relationships with clients.
Bachelor’s degree or four years of full-time work experience in a related industry or field.
A minimum of two to four years of experience in an administrative assistant capacity that requires self-management, multi-tasking, and attention to detail.
Excellent problem solving, oral/written communication in one-on-one and group situations, organizational, interpersonal and motivational skills; the ability to interface with all levels of staff and management also required.
Capable of meeting deadlines; set priorities; continuously improve processes and procedures.
Knowledge of Adecco operating systems, policies, procedures and guidelines
Excellent PC Skills, proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office including Excel and Word with a general understanding of PC operations and applications. Knowledge of Adecco software including CM, Connect, Concur, Sales Force and ABP.
