Do NOT apply through this website. The Governor’s Office is seeking to fill a position to assist the Terrace Hill Administrator. This Administrative Assistant 1 position will be responsible for public relations and organizing events in support of Terrace Hill. This position has contact with the public and excellent customer service is required. Duties and responsibilities to include: · Oversee rental events to nurture and maintain relations with the key people of the organizations involved. · Develop a coordinated effort between the Commission, Terrace Hill Society and First Lady’s Office to assist as needed in planning events and activities to better promote Terrace Hill. · Promote Terrace Hill, Terrace Hill events and educational opportunities for the Commission, Society Foundation as well as the First Family. · Serve as direct contact with statewide and local media through telephone, direct contact, social media, e-news and Internet. · Schedule and manage day-to-day tour operations. Terrace Hill Administrator is seeking an individual with education/experience with a BS in history, museum studies, marketing, communications, public relations, education or related fields or equivalent related experience. Minimum Qualifications Graduation from an accredited college or university.
