The position works with material of confidential nature, maintains and updates files of clients, personnel and office records; compiles and submits Child Protective Service (CPS) referral packets and service referrals; enters and matches service authorization requests for auxiliary services; sends service authorization reminders to each worker to ensure all service authorizations are current; inputs timesheets; orders and maintains office supplies; copies court reports and attachments for court hearings; enters hearing documentation for court and foster care review board hearings; processes incoming and outgoing correspondence on a daily basis; attends staff and unit meetings; gathers and summarizes data; performs other duties as required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): KNOWLEDGE of: working with material of a confidential nature; maintaining and updating office and client files; preparing and gathering information and reports for meetings. SKILL in: basic business and office procedures; using office equipment and various computer programs; logging and tracking activities; typing letters; written and verbal instructions. ABILITY to: learn the Financial Management Computer System (FMCS) to order supplies and input payroll; compile and submit CPS referral and service packets.
NOTE: Applicants for this position shall be subject to a search of the Child Protective Services Central Registry. Applicants for this position will be required to apply for and show proof of receipt of a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card that meets DES requirements for a Level One card.
