Applicant must have professional oral and written communication skills, ability to understand and follow instructions and meet numerous deadlines in a timely manner. Word Processing skill and general knowledge of spreadsheets is essential. A general knowledge/experience in Bookkeeping is a plus. Applicant must have the ability to produce complete and accurate job assignments within expected time frames with minimal supervision. Computer skills should include word processing, data entry, internet and email. The Administrative Assistant will perform specific tasks and assist other personnel within the District or Department as the need arises, answer the phone and assist customers or other personnel, file, and run errands. The Administrative Assistant must understand and comply with company policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality of all company and employee information. Must be detail oriented, a well-organized self-starter and a team player willing to cross train and assist in other jobs when necessary. Dependability, honesty, and timeliness are essential.
