The Administrative Services Coordinator I provides direct support for implementation of federally sponsored grants. The Administrative Services Coordinator I assists the Director of Research, Program Manager, and research team members to conduct administrative activities and functions to ensure efficient and effective operation of the Research Department.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in marketing federally sponsored grants to colleges, universities, and other stakeholders.
  • Assist in the recruitment of program participants. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Responding to phone and email inquiries; disseminating recruitment bulletins, flyers, and emails to colleges, universities and students.
  • Assist in the selection, orientation, registration, and supervision of program participants. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: tracking applications, scheduling phone interviews, emailing offer letters and registration materials, registering trainees with KKI’s Training and Media office, organizing and maintaining student information folders, organizing and copying orientation materials, logging trainee hours, assist Program Manager in arranging transportation, travel, and housing for trainees; assist Program Director with mentoring trainees.
  • Input and update trainee data in Access or similar relational databases.
  • Input program activities (i.e., didactic trainings and conference presentations) and products (i.e. submitted and published manuscripts) in the National Information Reporting System (NIRS).
  • Assist in the coordination of all internal and external meetings, teleconferences, appointments, and trainee continuing education seminars and journal clubs.
  • Assist Program Director and Manager in the development of interim and annual reports to federal sponsor.

  • Qualifications:

    EDUCATION:
    • BA/BS degree required.
    • Masters preferred.

    EXPERIENCE:

    At least one year of administrative experience is required
