WHO WILL BE CONSIDERED:
This position is open to all current members of the Oklahoma Air National Guard assigned the Tulsa, OK Air National Guard Base only.

***RELOCATION ALLOWANCES WILL NOT BE PAID DUE TO THE LACK OF FUNDS***

NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED:
This is an excepted position that requires active membership in a compatible skill in the Oklahoma Air National Guard and the wear of the military uniform. Acceptance of an excepted position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment.

MILITARY REQUIREMENTS:
Selected candidate will be required to be in a compatible military assignment prior to effective date of placement.

Supervisor must verify that selected individual occupies a compatible military position. Technicians will not be militarily senior to their full-time supervisor or wage leader (grade inversion).

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Must currently be a member of the OKANG/TANGB.

United States Citizenship is required.

Direct Deposit is mandatory.

Individuals on incentive bonuses may be subject to recoupment.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
Applicants must have

9 months

of work
experience that provides knowledge of the procedures and techniques involved in
carrying out the work of the organization. Applicant must possess the ability
to serve as the focal point, local authority and expert source for information
on a variety of orderly rooms and administrative support functions for an
organization.

Also, exemplify the
ability to use computer software programs, military personnel programs and
regulations.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

(KSA's):
In the event
there are more than 10 certified applicants the following KSA's will be used to
determine the best qualified applicants from which selection will be made.

1.

Knowledge of
specialized procedures and technical application of the administrative work.

2.

Skill in
gathering information, compiling data and preparing reports.

3.

Specific knowledge of regulations and
procedures related to the type of work performed by the function.

MILITARY REQUIREMENTS:
Selected candidates will be required to be in a compatible military grade and assignment prior to the effective date of placement.

SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR SPECIALIZED
EXPERIENCE

:

High school
graduate or the equivalent may be substituted for 3 months of specialized
experience or education in schools above the high school level may be
substituted for experience on the basis of one academic year (30 semester hours
or the equivalent) of study for 12 months of experience.
