TandE Planning: The candidate shall coordinate JITC participation in program and developmental/operational test planning and events, which may include the development and insertion of the test cases required to generate the necessary data to accomplish joint interoperability assessment. It is the candidate's responsibility to ensure the data necessary for joint interoperability evaluation is collected and stored appropriately. The candidate will participate in test related meetings/teleconferences to ensure test requirements are identified, considered, and included early in the systems development and test planning processes. The candidate may be required to prepare and present TandE approach, concept, or planning briefings to AF DCGS stakeholders. As requirements evolve, the candidate will inform the AO of any changes that may impact TandE planning.
TandE Plans: All TandE activities require a plan. The candidate will develop draft and final plans in the agreed upon format (e.g., full plan, tailored plan, memorandum, or PowerPoint presentation) that address the goals and objectives of each test event. All documentation will be IAW JITC plans and policy guidelines.
TandE Events: The candidate will actively participate in TandE events (e.g., tests, assessments, exercises, experiments, and demonstrations) to collect data in support of AF DCGS interoperability certification. A secondary focus area is the examination of end to end interoperability within processes and mission threads. The candidate may be required to provide simultaneous support to TandE activities from multiple locations.
TandE Results: The candidate is expected to independently conduct detailed technical analysis of all valid data on the system and evaluate and report on the system's performance relative to its Joint Staff certified requirements. All TandE activities require documentation to record and disseminate the results. The candidate will develop draft and final reports that document results in the agreed upon format (e.g., full report, tailored report, quick look report, memorandum, or PowerPoint presentation) and IAW JITC plans and policy guidelines.
Briefings and Meetings: The candidate may be required to participate and brief during internal and external meetings (e.g., DCGS Teams' Week, DCGS related focus team meetings, DCGS related functional team meetings, and internal JITC meetings) to U.S. and foreign audiences. The candidate will provide draft and final presentations that support briefing topics/objectives to the AO. Participation in meetings may include the presentation and exchange of technical data and evaluated information in addition to providing the following:
A. The candidate will prepare, maintain, and present the JITC AF DCGS TandE strategy briefing.
B. The candidate will prepare and present AF DCGS TandE approach, concept, or planning briefings.
C. The candidate will prepare and present in process status reports and briefings.
D. The candidate will prepare and present task and task update briefings.
E. The candidate will prepare and present pre temporary duty (TDY) and post TDY briefings.
F. The candidate will support DCGS TandE Focus Team as it applies to the AF DCGS system test activities.
Coordination: The candidate will provide the appropriate TandE planning/execution coordination with other JITC Portfolio/Division personnel (i.e. JITC Multi function Laboratory, NITF Standards Lab, Instrumentation section, Operations Research and System Analysts (ORSA), etc.), AF DCGS Program Office Team in addition to other TandE agencies (i.e. ATEC, APG, DOTandE, TCM SP, etc.) in support of the AF DCGS interoperability certification test requirements. All technical coordination meetings will be documented IAW the deliverable schedule and provided to the AO.
