Primary Job Function

Provide support for the management of Affiliate publications in accordance with the Affiliate publications business processes, ensuring adherence to established timelines and AbbVie policies and procedures. Provide support for training and communications for Affiliate and headquarter staff related to Affiliate publications activities. Manage workflow for all assigned Affiliate publication activities within Datavision Serve as Datavision expert. Generate reports on Affiliate publication activities, including publication-tracking, information, and metrics reports. Work with Affiliate staff and GMA staff to ensure publication-related information is accurate and up-to-date. Maintain current awareness of and serve as a resource on good publication practices and AbbVie policies and procedures applicable to publications to all stakeholders involved with Affiliate publications.

Core Job Responsibilities

Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.

Establish and maintain productive and collaborative working relationships with department staff, AbbVie Affiliate staff, International Medical Affairs staff, and other stakeholders involved with Affiliate publications
Provide support for training and related communications to Affiliate and HQ staff related to Affiliate publications activities.
Provide support to Affiliate Publications Liaison in the management of Affiliate publications in accordance with the Affiliate publications business processes.
Conduct all activities in support of Affiliate publications in adherence to established timelines and AbbVie policies and procedures.
Effectively communicate with Affiliate and Headquarter stakeholders regarding Affiliate publication requirements and timeframes for completion of activities.
Maintain current awareness of and serve as a resource on good publication practices and AbbVie policies and procedures applicable to publications to all stakeholders involved with Affiliate publications.
Effectively multitask to ensure that publication activities and other assigned responsibilities are completed in a timely manner.
Responsible for accurate completion of documentation and ensuring accuracy of reports.
Create and maintain publication records in Datavision, ensuring records are accurate.
Demonstrate expertise and serve as expert resource for Datavision, providing guidance to publication stakeholders when needed.
Generate reports on Affiliate publication activities, including publication-tracking, information, and metrics reports.
Work with Affiliate representatives to ensure publication-related information is accurate and up-to-date.
Contribute ideas regarding systems or process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce expenditure, and/or ensure quality.

Position Accountability / Scope

Accountable for effective management of Affiliate publications, ensuring adherence to established processes, timelines, and AbbVie policies and procedural requirements.
Accountable for driving all assigned deliverables to timely completion.
Responsible for effective communication with all stakeholders.
Responsible for completion of assigned training within required timeframes and for adherence to applicable AbbVie policies and procedures.

Qualifications
Minimum Education

Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science Degree required.

Minimum Experience / Training Required

Microsoft Office and Internet navigation proficiencies essential.
Able to prioritize multiple tasks and/or projects with limited supervision.
Project management experience preferred.
Pharmaceutical or related industry experience preferred.
Experience with publication management software or publication document support preferred.

Significant Work Activities and Conditions Continuous sitting for prolonged periods ( more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day)
