The Engineering and Technology Acquisition Support Services (ETASS) contract provides a broad range of engineering support to the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center's (AFLCMC's) programs located at Hanscom AFB and their geographically separated units.

We have an immediate need for an experienced Microsoft SCCM Subject Matter Expert to work within the C3I Infrastructure Division Air Force Network (AFNet) Systems Program Office at Hanscom Air Force Base. The individual selected for this position will be responsible for supporting network design topologies, acquisition, validation, and deploying requirements and proposed solutions for the Data-at-Rest (DaR), AF Vulnerability Management System (AFVMS)/Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), Comply to Connect (C2C), and Host Base Security System (HBSS) projects. Duties include:
Acting as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Microsoft SCCM/SMS software management tools.
Developing and implementing technical requirements, design architecture, and test plans for DaR (Bitlocker and SCCM/SMS), HBSS, and AFVMS/ACAS/Network Access Control/Comply to Connect.
Supporting McAfee tools: ePO, HIPS, Virus Scan, Anti-spyware, and Rogue System Detector.
Provide accredited information security/network engineering services to analyze design and deployment issues.
Applying industry best practices in information assurance, IT security, systems/software engineering, integration, certification & test and working directly with the system integrator on the design and use case review, approval, and implementation.
Presenting and supporting proposed system changes at Engineering Review & Change Control Boards.

Experience designing, implementing/deploying, operating and/or maintaining large scale enterprise IT networks including network security & encryption systems such as DaR/Bitlocker & SCCM/SMS.
Demonstrated hands-on experience with servers and network management/defense tools.
Experience with Windows 2003/Windows 2008 Servers.
Must be able to work as part of a team or independently.
Must have excellent written & verbal communication skills.
Must be able to obtain a CompTIA Security+ Certification within 6 months of hire date.

Air Force IT infrastructure experience.
DoD acquisition and requirements documentation experience.
Experience with network scanners such as Tenable Nessus, Network Access Control (NAC), Comply to Connect, etc.
Experience with network vulnerability remediation tools such as McAfee Hercules and IBM SiteProtector.
Red Hat/Linux experience.
DIACAP experience.
VMware experience.

BS degree and 10 years of experience; MS degree and 8 years of experience; or Ph.D. and 4 years of experience required.

This position requires US citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance.
This position may be assigned to a Jacobs teammate company.
This position may require travel of up to one week per month.

Physical Requirements:
Work may involve sitting for extended periods. May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. Must have sufficient mobility to enter areas of manufacturing and military sites or facilities where necessary.

Work Environment:
Generally an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task.

Equipment and Machines:
Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, fax, etc.), and/or other industry-specific equipment.

Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical. Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements when required.

Other Essential Functions:
Must be able to work in a team atmosphere. Must put forward a professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation. Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others. Must be able to travel when necessary to accommodate customer and program requirements.
