This includes sending emails to children or grandchildren, scanning and sharing photos, recording stories, having access to the Internet and all that is has to offer, and most importantly
finding a whole new purpose through technology and socialization.
We are looking for special people who have a basic knowledge of computers, are patient, caring, and have a passion to make a difference. If what youve read thus far peaks your interest
you may be just the person we are looking for to be a Connected Living Ambassador and implement our program in the retirement communities we serve.
Connected Living Ambassador duties include, but are not limited to:
Public speaking is required , so an outgoing personality and the ability to engage and stimulate your audience is a must.
- Teaching seniors, community associates & family members how to use the computer, the Internet and our Network, which is specifically designed for seniors.
- Facilitating weekly Connected Living Groups
- Working closely with community associates to assist them in posting content to their community network
- Bringing a new level of energy and engagement to the community by working with leadership residents to create a community forum.
We currently have part-time positions available in the South Kingstown area for up to 5 hours per week.
We train for the position but you must bring a passion for making a difference to work with you everyday!
