The Global Financial Crimes Compliance (GFCC) organization and the AML Operations organization cover both global and business-aligned functions supporting the firm's Anti-money laundering (AML), Sanctions, and Anti-corruption programs and is lead by the BSA/AML Officer and the AML Operations Executive. The AML Lookbacks Organization is part of the firm's AML Operations team, and also reports into GFCC focusing on both regulatory required and self-directed lookbacks. The team works in close alignment with the teams and the standards that are established for the business as usual environment.
The AML Lookback Project Manager will be responsible for leading the delivery of lookback and internal transaction monitoring reviews. The successful candidate must have strong core project management skills, analytical skills, the ability to prioritize / manage time and a willingness to tackle new and difficult challenges. In addition, experience in AML Compliance is preferred. This position requires the individual to exercise sound judgment and to observe the highest degree of confidentiality in the handling of information received in the course of discharging responsibilities.
This individual will also be heavily involved in supporting management of vendor services when utilized for lookback and other review functions. The role may support the creation and management of a cross functional Investigations team and work closely with Alert Analysis, Investigative Team Management, Transaction Monitoring, Know Your Customer (KYC), and other AML Senior Management to provide them with analysis and assessment of lookback and other review activity. Supporting the tracking and ensuring implementation of lessons learned on a firm wide basis is also required.

BA/BS degree required
7-10 years of relevant work experience in a project management role
Financial Services Regulatory experience a plus
CAMS certification a plus
Understanding of regulatory and compliance environment and lifecycle
Management experience leading project teams from creation to execution; includes people management, team structuring, onboarding, and training
Self motivated individual that demonstrates initiative
Highly organized, extremely detail and control orientated
Team player with ability to build strong cross-business relationships - proven flexibility, adaptability, and reliability.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong PC Skills including Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, Powerpoint and other reporting tools
Excellent analytical skills
