This position is responsible for ensuring the quality and consistency of documenting high-level user business requirements used in application development. Ability to translate business requirements into Functional Specifications and Requirement Traceability documents for assigned projects. Understanding the technical designs as well as the specifications. Break-down complex business scenarios or problems into process and data models. Ability to maintain workload in a fast paced environment. Assist in the business process redesign and documentation as needed for new technology. Combines understanding of IT and business processes to recommend solutions. Experience developing use cases, use case model, supplementary requirements, and business rules. Minimum of 4 years of Business Analyst experience. Airline industry (including maintenance; payroll; reservations; flight ops) experience preferred.
-Responsible for planning, conducting and directing the analysis of complex business problems to be solved.
-Participate in and help to coordinate all phases of the software development lifecycle for data, technology and marketing deliverables.
-Ability to translate user requirements to Business Requirement, functional specifications, traceability, test and user documentation from which programs will be written.
-Gathering and managing requirements and business rules, translating those into operational specs and project tasks, and ensuring all requirements are reflected in every stage of documentation as well as in the solution through development and implementation.
-Acts as the conduit between a user group and an IT development team.
-May have quality assurance responsibilities.
-Ability to organize and prioritize assigned projects and other related tasks in order to meet deadlines.
-Adhere to all reporting and data manipulation standards and practices.
-Provide accurate estimates of effort on project tasks.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
-Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test
-Must have authorization to work in the U.S. as defined in the Immigrations Act of 1986
-Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license
-Minimum 4 years experience as a Business Analyst
-Must have experience creating business and functional requirements

EDUCATION : College degree
-Airline industry experience preferred; minimum 4 years as a Business Analyst. Experience working with technical staff to design and implement technical solutions required
-Experience in supporting Change Management and Issue Management highly desired.
-Willingness to learn and work closely with team members to understand the system.
