(with additional 4 weeks vacation)
The Nashua School District is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic educational leader for a secondary school in the District.
The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and leadership skills to promote increased student achievement, to provide a safe learning environment, to foster positive school - community relationships, to maintain high visibility and active involvement in those relationships, and to implement Nashua School District goals, objectives and philosophies.
Candidates must have the ability and commitment to foster team collaboration and differentiated instruction, to demonstrate instructional leadership, to integrate technology into the teaching-learning process, and have a clear commitment to meeting the needs of all students. Candidates must hold NH Principal certification or eligibility with five years successful experience in education preferably at the secondary level with a firm grasp of the curriculum, the principles and practices of middle or
high school teaching and administrative/leadership role experience.
Qualities sought include excellent verbal and written communications skills, use of technology, openness to promising ideas; and the ability to plan effectively.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervision of instruction; staff evaluation; discipline; parent contact; curriculum; and other job related
duties delegated by the Principal.
