We are looking for a highly-motivated, energetic self-starter to join the AOC Fielding Team as a C2 System Administrator. The candidate will provide installation, post configuration, and data load of Command and Control (C2) systems, servers and networks at AOC Fielding locations and Test/Integration labs for Recurring Event (RE) content releases. The candidate will work closely with the C2 Fielding SMEs and Lead for interface and interoperability items, documentation and schedule. Responsibilities include:
Administration of computer, or communications systems including system startup and shutdown, security and application patch installation, security scanning and remediation, user account, profile and permission management, system backups and restoration, system service and log management, system auditing, problem report management, help desk management, performance management and other IT administration related services as directed by the RE content.
AOC C2 Systems Administration experience is strongly preferred.
Knowledge with Windows and UNIX operating systems.
Microsoft client OS support; account management; network configuration management experience.
Knowledge on how the AOC systems are utilized and operated is a plus.
Bachelor's degree and eight (8) years minimum related engineering experience, or a Master's degree and seven (7) years minimum of related engineering experience, or PhD and two (2) years minimum of related engineering experience.
This position requires US citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance.
This position may be assigned to a Jacobs teammate company.
This position requires travel of 50%.
Work may involve sitting for extended periods. May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. Must have sufficient mobility to enter areas of manufacturing and military sites or facilities where necessary.
Generally an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task.

Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, fax, etc.), and/or other industry-specific equipment.
Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical. Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements when required.
