Personally Yours Staffing, a Corporate Resource Service Company is currently seeking an AP Clerk for our client an airline company in the Ft. Lauderdale area. Duties will include:
Title: AP Clerk
Schedule: Full Time
Reports to: AP Manager
Responsible for providing administrative support for the accounting department by keying invoices, reconciling vendor statements, maintaining vendor relationships and filing invoices.
Receives documents (vendor invoices, vendor statements, check requests, purchase orders, and other related documents) from both internal customers and external vendors.
Reviews documents for completeness, accuracy and appropriate approvals in accordance with accounting policies and procedures.
Matches documents with internal purchase orders or check requests.
Codes documents in accordance with general ledger chart of accounts.
Inputs documents into accounts payable system through both manual data entry and electronic scanning methods.
Reconciles vendor statements and solicits vendors for outstanding invoices.
Communicates and follows up with both internal customers and external vendors to resolve issues and meet pay terms.
Excellent data entry skills both fast and accurate.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Excellent organization and time management skills.
Minimum of (3) three years accounts payable experience.
Must have Bachelor Degree.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship.
Must be able to pass a Drug and Alcohol Screen, and FBI Fingerprint & Criminal History check
