ANR Communication Services & Information Technology (CS&IT) is partnered with the ANR Research Extension Centers System (REC) in developing a suite of web applications to manage research projects and provide functions for upward reporting. This position will be responsible for the development of web applications and databases for complex financial, human resource, and research systems. These web applications will be developed in close contact with administrative clients while working on a team of programmers.

Physical Demands:
Work at a computer for extended periods of time.

Lift and maneuver computer equipment weighing up to 35 lbs.

Work Environment:
Work flexible schedule and occasional evenings, weekends and holidays to respond to needs of business application users and meet deadlines.

Travel within California will be required, approximately 4 times per year. A valid CA Driver's license may be required.

Minimum Qualifications:
-Experience developing web based database application systems related to project tracking and content management.
-Experience with application level authentication and security.
-Experience developing applications in .NET framework.
-Experience with JavaScript and CSS libraries such as JQuery or Bootstrap.
-Excellent oral and written skills to communicate ideas and concepts technical and non-technical users.

Preferred Qualifications:
-Experience developing applications in PHP, ColdFusion or similar languages.
-Technical skills to evaluate and edit documentation written by others, including user manuals, training documents, etc.
-Experience developing accounting, personnel, payroll, and other administrative databases and applications.
-Experience developing application to application communication interfaces utilizing web services.
