As an Application Support Developer you will provide technical application support to customers using Runzheimer’s technology based products. Application support is a collaborative environment that provides an opportunity to self-motivate while coordinating with team members. Effective communication and excellent organization will be crucial when supporting Runzheimer customers and resolving application issues. This position requires a candidate who will take ownership to pursue process improvements and lead others to finding technical solutions.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot application issues impacting customers.
Recommend and execute solutions to resolve complex application problems.
Coordinate deployment of system changes with developers and quality assurance management.
Provide communication and status updates regarding progress to address application issues.
Create process improvements to enhance Runzheimer’s support processes.
Available for 24x7 on-call support and monthly service weekend activities as needed.
Bachelor's Degree in MIS, Computer Science or related field
5+ years of professional experience in application development and support role
Experience with multi-tiered Microsoft platform based web application environments
Experience communicating with individuals, both external and internal, to effectively manage customer expectations
