Position Summary: User support for NWA's proprietary applications and reports related to eligibility, accounting, claims, and actuarial reporting. Primary Responsibilities (essential functions) and Performance Measures: Provide primary support to internal users of proprietary customer service application which includes answering questions and resolving issues reported by the Customer Service Department in a timely manner. Provide application and report support for multiple departments within NWA such as Accounting Eligibility, Health Welfare, Trust Accounting, and Trust Administration. Resolve issues related to the incorrect behavior of existing reports and applications and assist in the development of new reports and applications required by NWA's clients and staff members. This could involve assisting in the testing of any assigned projects including writing up test cases for user validation, collecting functionality requirements from users and stakeholders and communicating the specifications to the Developer effectively, and ensure proper usage after released to the production environment. Issue documentation to system users in a memo form as new and/or altered programs are moved into the production environment and maintain up to date manuals on the current behavior of the applications. Assist in the proper scheduling and routing of all reports. Submit requests to the NWA Operations Center for on-demand reports requested by system users.Maintain all letter templates that are created through the NWA letters application, as well as providing support to the users. Provide support and assist users with prescription drug issues involving pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) employed by NWA's clients. These include issues, programs, and reports used in Medicare Part D eligibility and drug subsidy reporting.Log project requests into NWA's project tracking system and be responsible for updating the status of these projects on a regular basis. On a daily basis, monitor the issues logged by the NWA Operations Center. Any issues assigned to the candidate should be resolved by end of business on the day they're reported. Any issues unresolved by this time must be logged into NWA's issue tracking system with an explanation of the issue and the reason it cannot be resolved. Continue to monitor and update the status of these issues until they are resolved.Other Duties as Assigned.You will be measured by your ability to respond to and resolve issues in a timely manner that are assigned to you; by our ability to properly document the status of and meet the deadlines attached to the projects assigned to you; by your ability to provide professional and courteous support to those you interact with; and upon the quality of your written work (email communications, systems documentation, etc.).Experience, Knowledge and Skills Required to Perform the Job: Strong analytical skills and broad knowledge of the applications supported.Proficiency in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and MS Sharepoint.Familiarity with the composition and execution of SQL data queries.Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment.Excellent written and oral communication skills.The ability to work independently with minimum supervision as well as being a productive and contributing member of a project team.Claims processing experience preferred.Work Environment: Professional office environment, with strict adherence to the company's dress code and personal conduct policies.Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
