ARS Business Development – Relationship team is responsible for owning the partner relationship and delivering profitability on high visibility ARS customers. The partner bases managed within the team are typically Auto Manufactures, Rental Car Agency’s, Cellular Companies, Membership Organizations and others.
The team is responsible for driving the overall growth of the business through the development of a deep understanding of the partners’ culture, future needs, and current constraints. Effectively managed, this team provides a single point of contact and ‘face’ for the ARS business while internally communicating and advocating the partners needs and goals. The department is made up of a team of members with deep levels of experience managing high dollar, highly complex partners relationships.
SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Client Relationship Lead
for wholesale and affinity partners will drive growth and partner profitability across multiple clients and products. Approximate rev. responsibility of $7MM.
Additional Responsibilities include (day to day):
Primary partner contact within ARS, communicating regularly with partners to move initiatives forward. Is primary partner advocate.
Manage partner P&L’s. Ensure partner and ARS financial objectives are met/exceeded by securing additional opportunities for marketing, introducing new products, increasing channels of distribution and managing expenses.
Drive financial forecasts and planning through development of marketing strategy and plans and financial models. Work cross functionally to execute plans on time and within budget
Ensure partner contract compliance and manage contract renegotiations. Secure marketing commitment according to forecast. Manage growth profitability.
Understand partner goals/objectives and translate them into actionable solutions to drive profitability and partner/customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with Product, Marketing and Marketing Analytics to develop customized marketing programs based on partners’ goals.
Lead cross-functional teams to launch new partner relationships and implement campaigns.
The ideal candidate will have 5 plus years of experience in managing large partner relationships
2. Strong financial/analytical skills: Manage client level P&Ls to optimize growth and profitability
3. Strategic Planning: Ability to strategize internally and with assigned partners to balance short term, tactical needs within the overall long range corporate goals.
4. Facilitation: Effectively manage all required internal and partner communications to achieve desired results from day to day verbal and written correspondence to high level, strategic planning meetings
5. Strong negotiation and communication skills: Ability to effectively communicate all relevant updates, strategies and needs with an underlying focus on partnership
6. Accountable: Responsible for client P&L’s met or exceed forecast. Ability to build plans internally and with partners to close any gaps, enhance program, or ‘farm’ new opportunist in order to manage growth profitably.
Organized and Able to Manage Timelines / Project Plans: Objective is to strategize and deliver to client in an effort to exceed expectations.
