ASSISTANT COOK

Helps in preparation of the meals. Assists the cook in preparing the meals in a nutritious, tasteful, and aesthetically pleasing manner, as prescribed by the menu. Assists in food preparation for functions and holidays. Responsible for cleanliness and sanitation of food preparation area. Covers cook’s positions as needed.

Requirements:
Culinary Arts Training/ Degree.
Safe Serve cert.
Experience in high-volume cooking (3-5 yrs preferred).
Must be organized, knowledge of nutrition as it relates to food preparation. Knowledge of or willingness to learn the rules of Kashruth, ability to supervise and work well with others.
