Supervise, plan and coordinate staff engaged in a variety of Botanical and/or Biological Park Services, activities and operations including the care and husbandry of Biological Park animals or Botanical Garden plants, trees and displays; maintenance of animal enclosures and facilities and the provision of educational services.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in zoology, animal husbandry, botany, horticulture, biology or a related field, plus three (3) years of managerial experience working with plant, animal or crop operations in a Botanical Garden, Biological Park, agricultural environment, tree care service or similar facility. Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year for year basis. Possession of a valid New Mexico Driver's License.

Work independently in the absence of supervision
Understand and follow oral and written instructions
Communicate clearly and concisely
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work
