Serve as primary contact for employers and students for student internships at the JB Pendleton Center in Los Angeles, CA. Advise students regarding their internship search. Oversee the maintenance of the internship database and listings. Maintain alumni lists and contact information. Oversee the program application process for Ithaca College and non-IC students. Coordinate and facilitate Los Angeles Program Orientation. Perform a variety of administrative duties in support of the Los Angeles Program. Train, supervise and schedule student assistants. Provide assistance in developing and/or maintaining program budgets. Schedule appointments and arrange meetings; provide assistance in the assimilation of data and preparation of reports. Maintain department files and records and process a variety of College procedural and operational forms. Order selected resource materials, videos, and office supplies. Serve as resource person for faculty, staff, and students.
Position/Job Responsibilities continued
Associate’s degree and a minimum of 3 years previous office experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills, solid working knowledge of various word processing, spreadsheet and database software applications, ability to process sensitive and confidential information, previous experience maintaining and reconciling office and project budgets and strong attention to detail is required. Bachelors degree and previous experience working with on-line information systems, on-line corporate calendars and experience working in a college or university setting is preferred.
