Assistant, Payroll (R12-316)

In this position you will process accurate and timely payrolls company-wide, participate in HRMS Systems updates/upgrades to include PeopleSoft and Time Collection System along with testing and validation of new policies and procedures, effectively communicating and be a leader within the Human Resources Team. Payroll processing includes all compensation related transactions, payments, deposits and reports.

To qualify, you must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience providing payroll services which should include bargaining unit, salaried and hourly labor. Familiarity with applicable laws affecting taxability of employee compensation and benefits is essential. Proven experience providing courteous service to employees and other clients is crucial; diplomacy and confidentiality necessary. Thorough knowledge of People Soft is preferred. Strong administrative skills (Microsoft Suite, data entry, time management, spreadsheets) are required as well as strong mathematical orientation. An Associate’s Degree in Business or related field along with APA/FPC/CPP certification is preferred.
