Job Summary The Associate Director assists the Director with supervision of audit staff members, staff development, leading and conducting audit engagements, reviewing workpapers, writing audit reports, conducting interviews and conferences, and performing independent projects. This position will be responsible for maintaining and developing internal procedures and processes as well as assisting the Director in the risk assessment process and the development of the audit schedule. The Associate Director has periodic contact with personnel at all management levels in all administrative, support, and academic divisions of the university. The incumbent assists the Director in sustaining an audit and advisory service program that emphasizes strengthening internal controls, improving processes, and optimizing customer service. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field from an accredited college or university and 3 years of auditing work experience. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and audit supervisory experience is also required.
