The Associate Director is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the UGA Costa Rica Athens Office, including the management of education abroad programs. This includes: a) assisting the Director with new education abroad program development and providing detailed administrative oversight for all UGA Costa Rica education abroad programs; b) assisting in management of the Athens Office day-to-day operations; c) serving as a liaison to outside universities; d) oversight of alumni communications and event planning; e) assisting with public relations efforts; and f) supervision of study abroad advisor position, graduate assistant position, student volunteers, and student interns which support the different aspects of this position. Minimum Qualifications Master's degree in Higher Education Administration, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management or similar field, with 2-3 years relevant experience, including proven staff supervisory and budgetary development/oversight experience. Prior travel outside the United States is required, with at least one academic semester or 6 months living/working abroad. - 19 months ago - save job
