Major Oil & Gas Company in Northwest Houston seeking Associate Accountant. This position requires the ability to prepare analysis of GL and P&L accounts, reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts, prepare accurate journal entries, and reconcile cash/bank accounts, including cash, accruals, intercompany, etc. In addition the candidate will assist with month-end closing entries. The candidate will have basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while meeting critical deadlines.
Excellent verbal and oral communication skills a must. Oracle experience is preferred.
