Post-1648 France. The history department at East Carolina University invites applications for an appointment at the associate professor level, tenurable, to begin on August 12, 2013. Responsibilities include teaching World Civilizations survey courses as well as graduate and undergraduate courses in French history. A doctoral degree in History or other closely related field is required at the time of application. Candidates must have records of scholarly publications and teaching excellence, as well as documented expertise in Atlantic World history.
