PURPOSE OF POSITION: Utilizes technical expertise to support knowledge development and application of job related skills. Focuses as a resource and responds to inquiries related to a specific subject matter or technical applications. To provide training and orientation for new hires in the Scheduling Center, Clinical Concierge, and Customer Connections. Provide retraining of the current staff on standard and new processes.
Provides trouble shooting and resource information to a specified audience. Utilizes technical knowledge and skills to address routine tasks or to deliver specific training services to a defined audience. Supports the operations of the department to effectively deliver education and performance improvement solutions.
Coordinates routine projects and assists other education and performance improvement practitioners to enable learning. Proactively participates on relevant councils, committees, projects or taskforces.
Acts to facilitative teamwork within and across departments.
Train new hires on the processes of the Scheduling Center, Clinical Concierge or Customer Connections. Work directly with the Managers in scheduling new staff and meeting the needs of timely training in department processes. Develop and maintain training materials and job aides needed for training programs. Maintain department records of staff receiving training. Create web-based training programs utilizing software. Serve as a liaison to areas outside of the Scheduling Center.
Assist management by participating in team meetings on the improvement and development of new processes. Participate in creating, developing and implementing of training programs in the Scheduling Center, Clinical Concierge and Customer Connections.
REQUIRED SKILLS: Ability to apply technical knowledge and skills in the delivery of learning services. Ability to anticipate the needs of others, recognize potential problems and proactively communicate and address these opportunities. Verbal and written communication, problem solving, time management and organizational skills required. Working knowledge of relevant software applications. EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE: Required: Associate's Degree, or equivalent combination of education and related work experience. Plus two years of related work experience . Preferred: Bachelor's Degree
