Serve as a leader on the Student Support staff with primary responsibility for post-admission student services. With the senior director and associate director plan pre-departure activities and reentry programs, with overseas staff assure wellbeing of students participating in study abroad programs (fall, spring, special sessions), and improve overall student satisfaction. With the senior director and associate director, assess, and develop predeparture and reentry programs: general events, site specific events, individual advisement, online support mechanisms, and parent outreach. Lead a team of counselors to effectively execute the pre-departure/reenrty calendar and see through the admissions, pre-departure to returnee processes the needs of a group of students as assigned by the associate director.
3- 5 years progressively responsible experience in admissions or student affairs or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must include experience in student services/student life or advising.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: (include unique competencies, certification, licenses, etc.):
Superior communication, interpersonal, and organization skills. Ability to market programs successfully. Comfort traveling independently, knowledge of computer software, ability to work evenings and weekends. Knowledge of programs outside of the US. Valid Drivers license.
