The User Experience Manager will define and manage the visitor experience on, API Platform. Drive user experience optimization from user research and information architecture to interaction models and site measurement/analytics. You will actively collaborate with the web marketing, application and production teams to drive innovation and create cutting-edge user experiences that will create strong business results. This includes:
  • Define and measure the key UX success metrics collaboratively, with the Ecommerce analyst, for all product engagements and for driving the team on the actualization of all key metrics

  • Establish and maintain UI consistency across all Developer Program-related online properties including, AT&T API Platform and microsite marketing channels

  • Ability to work with technology professionals to understand the implications of technical requirements and capabilities on usability and design work

  • Utilize wireframes, html mockups and simple prototypes to test and recommend improvements to internally and externally focused applications

  • Excellent communicator/presenter with the ability to pitch ideas, run working sessions, and articulate and defend design decisions. Effectively present user experience solutions to internal stakeholders to ensure that information design meets both business objectives and end-user expectations

  • Design, develop and conduct usability testing scenarios to understand and validate user needs throughout the lifecycle of projects

  • Keep current of industry trends, web development technology and advancements

Position is located in Redmond, WA.

Required Qualifications:
  • 3-7 years experience creating or leading the development of online or application interfaces
  • Expertise in user-centered design practices, information architecture, content and brand strategy, visual design, and interaction and interface development
  • Excellent communicator/presenter with the ability to pitch ideas, run working sessions, and articulate and defend design decisions
  • Creative and strategic thinker able to develop innovative solutions to problems and leading-edge design
  • Deep understanding and awareness of product development and experience tying product goals to business goals
  • A strong understanding of front-end technologies for both web-based and mobile browsers and applications (e.g. HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Flash)
  • Deep familiarity with mobile application developer community and work requirements
  • Experience using and presenting APIs or other developer tools as a service

Desired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, IS, Business, or related field of study
