This is a unique opportunity for you to play a key role on the leadership team building a strong new Managed Care Organization including Medicaid, Medicare Duals programs, andthe 2014 Healthcare Exchange, while enjoying the resources of a Fortune 500 industry leader. The plan will be created through the integration of an acquisition and development of a MCO, providing services for 200,000+ members. ?You'll assume overall responsibility for the administration of Medicaid, Medicare and other contracts, including acting as the main contact for the contracting agencies, helping implement contracts and train staff, and building relationships with legislators, lobbyists and regulators. In the process you'll support our mission to provide quality healthcare for financially vulnerable individuals and families. You'll also demonstrate your leadership skills and ability to deliver results, and your success could set you up to pursue multiple career paths within Molina as we continue to grow.

To be a good fit for the AVP Government Contracts opportunity, you will have:

At least five years of experience in government programs, including:

Experience with regulatory compliance.

An understanding of Medicaid or Medicare programs.

A demonstrated ability to develop effective relationships with regulators and legislators.

Knowledge of Medicaid and/or Medicare contract development and language.

Experience working with a large plan and/or start-up is highly preferred.

Solid management, negotiation and presentation skills.

A bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
