The Global Technology & Operations area within MetLife is seeking a New York metro-based security technology expert with at least 5 years of relevant experience. He or she will report to and work closely with the Head of Global Corporate Security on strategic and operational issues related to enabling MetLife’s corporate security through application of technology .
Develops and maintains technology strategy for global corporate security. Develops the company global security technology standards and security systems architecture
Develops global strategic roadmaps to ensure rollout of security technology and systems
Identifies and pilots testing of new and innovative security systems, technology and applications for use by the security team, senior executives and all associates, including capital projects, desktop applications and mobile solutions. Develops business cases to procure budget and project plans for implementation.
Identifies and implements technology tools required to support corporate security function
Coordinates with regional security leaders and leaders of global capabilities to define technology needs and to implement requisite technologies
Partners with key stakeholders in the development of site security technology standards and execution of CRE projects
Manages and maintains relationships with key security systems and technology vendors
At least 7 + years of Corporate experience
At least 5 years of IT / security-systems technology related experience
Comprehensive knowledge of the latest security technology and its application for supporting corporate security
Proven ability to think strategically and develop business cases and business plans
Proven excellent project management skills. Certified PMP a plus.
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication and presentation skills
Ability to coordinate teams and professionals with various skills across the organization
Bachelor’s degree required. Advance degree a plus.
Multilingual capability a plus.
