Conducts safety and security reviews for company facilities. Evaluates all elements of safety and security for all company staff and properties. Identifying shortfalls or weaknesses, recording same and identify corrections. Maintain documentation related to these safety and security reviews.
Involved with assigned projects from initiation to completion. Using existing guidelines and processes, identify safety and security components and applications for installation during construction projects. Ensure security and fire vendors are properly programmed and scheduled for their optimum success.
Prepares reports, processes purchase orders, and reviews vendor requests for payment for accuracy and validity. Review invoices for services rendered or products for accuracy and completeness. Coordinate any documentation to validate purchases or service and ensure correct payment.
Respond to safety and security issues and coordinate requests from Law Enforcement Agencies. Investigates or assists in the investigation of incidents and crimes that occur on company property. Review any requests for video and photographic reproduction of incidents from law enforcement. Ensure that proper steps have been completed before any release to any agency.
Other duties as assigned.
Associate degree and a minimum of 5 years of previous experience working in the security industry.
Working knowledge of security systems.
Ability to operate specific automated safety and security systems and CCTV systems.
Ability to coordinate and interact with law enforcement agencies and corporate management.
Prior experience in either government or corporate security.
Prior Law Enforcement or Security background.
Working knowledge with Microsoft Windows applications.
