Provides academic and career advising; advises new and current students; provides program development and coordination; and identifies students and provides outreach services for academic advising programs.
Master’s degree in college student personnel, counseling, higher education or related field.
At least two years of advising or related experience at a college or university required. Knowledge of higher education academic programs and services and excellent communication and human relations skills also required.
Training in and experience utilizing MAP-Works and experience teaching a college level first-year transitions course or career exploration course preferred. Occasional evening and weekend work necessary.
