Job Title : Tennis Intern
FLSA Status : Unpaid Intern for academic credit
Department: Athletics, Tennis
Position Summary: Assists in the operations and delivery of the Junior Tennis department.

Position Responsibilities
Assists in the daily operations and coordination of camp delivery
Assists the Business Manager and Administrative Assistant in various responsibilities including communication with APD and Campus Life
Assists in creating camp certifications, reports and communication with parents
Responsible for attendance tracking of students
Assists with Travel Expense Reports
Assists with Purchase Orders
Assists with student check in
Assists the students entering USTA and ITF tournaments
Organizes transportation to local facilities
Attends staff meetings
Assists with the cleanliness and organization of the department
Interacts with all departments ensuring IMG Academies best practices are followed
Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethic codes
Other duties as assigned

Program Requirements and Application Process
Now accepting applications for the Summer 2013 (June - August)
Course Credit Internships are open to college students only (junior, senior or graduate level)
Interns must receive academic credit toward graduation (students are responsible for providing documentation confirming academic credit for the internship)
No financial compensation is available
Interns must provide meals, housing is limited and may not be available
Intern are responsible for travel arrangements
Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays is required
Minimum of 12 weeks participation is required
Interns must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0

Sports Administration or related degree in progress
Desire to work collaboratively with colleagues
Strong customer relations background for both internal and external users
Proficiency with MS Office
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills
Master’s degree in progress
Playing, coaching or managing experience
CPR/ First Aid certification
Bilingual

Physical Demands and Work Environment
Ability to lift, move, push and pull equipment or boxes in excess of 40lbs.
Should be able to handle outdoor temperatures for a reasonable period of time.
Must be able to move around campus which includes gym, turf, fields, etc.
Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays is required
