Responsible for the development and acceleration of the commercial business market for a designated micro-market, without the need for a full service retail branch. As a catalyst to accelerate achievement of client business goals, creates an interdependent network of business owners, provides advisory leadership, and applies banking services from a wholly new and innovative platform that resonates with a targeted market segment:

Conduct an on-going, comprehensive analysis and economic profile of a targeted business micro-market. Develop networking and business development plans that target key industries and clients; creating a working, interdependent community of business owners.
Establish an advisory relationship with clients, developing an in-depth understanding of the client’s business model and operating plan.
Advise clients on strategies and tactics to accelerate the achievement of business goals. Leverages and facilitates the intersection of client needs and resources within the business network that fuels acceleration through these interdependent relationships.
Advises and markets to clients on the optimal use of credit and fee-based financial service products to fuel the acceleration of client business plans. Develops full customer depository relationship utilizing treasury services, electronic and remote products.
Plans and executes various educational, business networking and social functions to introduce new clients and support relationship development of business owners.
Responsible for overall profitability and achieving sales goals across all product lines. Maintains performance records and reports on client acceleration metrics, and product sales related to acceleration performance.
Serves as an advocate and liaison to local government, representing the interests of the business community. Develop influential working relationships with government municipalities to align goals of government leadership with those of business owners.
Leverage local reputation, participating and providing leadership to multiple social, civic and charitable organizations. Leads the CRA community development efforts for the micro-community.
Leverages technology applications to facilitate communications, transfer of knowledge and information, and provide service. Work with technology partners (internal and external) to create information sharing platforms for clients in the network.
Utilizes financial analysis and credit evaluation resources to support client’s business profitability evaluation and measurement.
Continually focuses on learning and self development activities. Stays current in economic and business trends, product knowledge and solutions, and participates in educational programs and forums. Learns to teach others and provides thought-leadership to clients and associates.
Adhere to the highest legal and ethical standards applicable to our industry, while observing both the spirit and letter of all government regulations and laws, and bank policies and procedures.
Seven to ten years related experience in business development, business analytics and diagnosis obtained through commercial lending sales and portfolio management, required.
Two to four years financial services experience in related business-lines that developed/served business client relationships; including: Treasury Management, Wealth Management, Consumer Banking, required.
4 year college degree, BA in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or related major, required
Demonstrated record of relationship building with business, civic and governmental organizations. Currently established within the micro-community, where reputation and followership is in place.
Flexibility around work hours and be available at times convenient to the client.
