Job Description/Responsibilities
As a fellow in the Accenture Student Empowerment Program you will:
Develop a relationship with an assigned mentor
Potentially have the opportunity to intern with Accenture
Gain exposure to the business world
Understand relevance of your academic studies
Develop a professional network and practice your networking skills
Understand what companies are looking for with new hires
Internship Responsibilities
Paid internships last 10 - 12 weeks and typically begin in late-May/early-June and end in mid-August /early-September. Your daily responsibilities will vary by project, but you may find yourself:
Analyzing and documenting current business processes and technologies
Designing and testing new business processes, capabilities, and technologies
Building portions of the application
Focusing on program management
Develop innovative answers to complex business and IT challenges
Focus on technical architecture, delivery excellence, program management and specialist technology areas
Build a common set of technology capabilities, across assessment, planning, design and implementation
Supporting functional user requirements and specifications
Developing communications, training and job aids to assist in change management activities
Performing rigorous, financial, business case, statistical and other quantitative analyses
Communicating clearly and concisely in written and oral formats
Accenture recruits for entry level internship positions in several groups; Technology Consulting, Systems Integration and Management Consulting. Recruiters will work to align you with the appropriate group based on your background, qualifications, experience, interest and business demand.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
Candidates must be current undergraduates with a graduation date between December 01, 2014 and June 30, 2015
Preferred Qualifications
3.2 or higher cumulative (overall) GPA
Job Requirements
Demonstrated leadership, quantitative and analytical skills
Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
Capacity to work individually and as a team member in a professional client environment
High motivation and self-confidence
Responsible for transportation and related fees associated with getting to your work location
