High school diploma or equivalency required. Minimum of 3 years of intake and/or scheduling experience in an outpatient healthcare setting required. Experience with scheduling system (daily maintenance/master scheduling) required. Call center experience preferred. Ability to handle requests from multiple sources. Strong knowledge of scheduling. Ability to interact professionally in complex and sometimes emotionally charged situations. Ability to function efficiently and professionally with a minimum of supervision. Ability to quickly learn new procedures. Ability to work well within a team. Strong customer service skills. Strong computer skills. Ability to gather complete and accurate information. Ability to produce thorough documentation. Advanced scheduling skills (master scheduling, etc.)Demonstrated training skills.

Responsible for the creation and daily maintenance of all work schedules within the scheduling department for the Center for Childhood Communications (could consist up to 52 total clinicians/physicians) assuring appropriate coverage at all location at all times. Assure that all schedules in the scheduling system are correct and make changes appropriately. Set up and maintain workflow systems to assist the scheduling support staff in their daily duties. Act as a troubleshooter, and will resolve issues as they arise and/or involve appropriate management personnel as needed.
