The Account Associate has two major focus areas, the first being the responsibility to generate new sales opportunities for the Senior Care Market specifically targeting new customers. The second is generating revenue from penetration into the Adult Day Center Market, including activities from prospecting to the actual closing of the sale.

Specific responsibilities include:
Prospect to uncover new sales opportunities using the established criteria and sales process.

Call contacts within assigned region to generate sales leads and develop relationships.

Use business directories, industry web sites and other sources to continually build database with new prospects.

Responsible for meeting individual sales quota established for the Adult Day market. Will have full responsibility for conducting all sales activities into this market from prospecting to closing business over the phone.

Maintain and update contact management database with customer and sales data information after every prospect/customer interaction.

Literature fulfillment. Send out applicable literature to prospective customers.

Account and Territory Planning with Account Managers to:
Identify areas of concentration (product specific and/or geographic concentration)

Share new information discovered (i.e. hot prospects, new regulations, etc.)

Follow qualified leads from qualification stage to final disposition.

Keep abreast of regulations affecting patient/resident safety and security.

Work specific lead generation campaigns related to trade shows, ad inquiries, direct mail, aged leads, email blasts, etc.


Bachelor's degree preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

1-2 years of working in a sales environment

Ability and desire to close sales.

PC skills including Microsoft Office.

Strong communication and relationship building skills

Desired Qualifications:
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.

A strong technical aptitude.
