Overall Objective

Assist the Senior Account Executive (Sr. AE)/Account Executive (AE) in the daily responsibilities and account activities assigned to the group. +

Day to Day Duties

Administrative follow up of all Sr. AE/AE functions including both internal and external responsibilities.

Work with all support departments in an effort to execute the duties and requests of the Sr. AE/AE on behalf of their clients' objectives.

Complete weekly ad bulletins for each client to include calendar of media, scripts, ads, and other pertinent information.

Review and report Z-trac activity on a daily basis for each appropriate client so that this information may be reviewed with the Sr. AE/AE to analyze effectiveness of advertising strategies.

Review and report to the Sr. AE/AE Loan Phone information for each client.

Attend weekly strategic discussions concerning the group's clients, discussing steps to enhance client business through advertising strategies and proper utilization of ZPA products and services.

Obtain and report industry news and submit this report to client in an effort to provide information that may be used to enhance client business.

Obtain newspapers for each appropriate market for general market information and competitive analysis reports.

Open jobs based on client-approved budgets and Sr. AE/AE direction.

Traffic open jobs in a timely and accurate manner by ensuring that the open job passes through the system in a timely manner and is reflective of the direction given by Senior AE/AE and client.

Proof ads and scripts to ensure accuracy, manufacture compliance and legal compliance.

Obtain zip code information for new and used sales from each appropriate client on a monthly basis to be used for media analysis.

Fill out, submit, and follow-up on co-op requests on client's behalf as directed by Senior AE/AE.

Conduct market analysis including, but not limited to: daily numbers, weekly competitive analysis, zip code analysis, media updates, media monitors, market share and auto count.

Required Skills

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or relevant, equivalent experience.

College internship with exposure to account services highly preferred.

Must be computer literate with proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook/Entourage with the ability to learn new computer systems.

Proven ability to manage multiple tasks while working independently

Strong attention to detail

A strong sense of urgency and commitment to get the job done quickly and with high quality

The ability to communicate, both written and verbal, with people at all levels of an organization
