Responsibilities :
Access Communications is seeking an Account Director to supervise day-to-day account activity, achieve and maintain primary interface with client contacts, implement new account programs, plans and strategies, and manage account implementation and supervision of status reports. This person will work closely with the Senior Vice President on assigned account, maintain and report billable hours and invoicing for same. The account director contributes to the agency training program, manages staff directly and helps identify and solve staff and agency issues, working closely with senior management.

Qualifications :
B.A. or B.S. Degree; 7 - 10 years minimum experience in public relations
Proven oral and written communications skills
Highly professional with business savvy
Excellent presentation skills
Solid experience in relevant technology
Ability to look at a client’s program and help position that client within the marketplace
Excellent manager of clients, direct reports and budgets
Good strategic planning skills
Highly professional with business savvy and ability to provide senior level strategy and counsel to clients and agency staff
Well versed in general public relations practices and agency operations
Proven ability to grow and manage client budgets with minimal write-offs
Ability to attract and win new business
Ability to interface with senior executives on client side
