We are currently seeking an Account Director to join our Philadelphia area team of professionals.
Our ideal candidate will have functioned as an interactive Account Director in an agency environment with at least 7 years of account management experience and 2 years experience operating in relevant leadership capacity. Candidates must have a proven history of applying insightful strategy development and exceptional management skill to client work. Passion for brands, technology, business, innovation, people, measurement, success, and collaboration is paramount. The successful candidate must possess the ability to identify ideas and create opportunities for our clients and have the natural ability to guide them and our growing team down the right path.
This position has two key areas of responsibility designed to work collaboratively to accelerate the growth of 1) our clients 2) our agency.
Client-Facing Responsibilities include:
Leading the team as the expert digital marketing partner within the client’s organization
Acting as overall client and inter-agency marketing owner and plan leader
Creating compelling customer value propositions and digital marketing strategy
Using strong communication skills to build effective relationships
Collaborating on common goals with client’s product and marketing teams as well as each of their respective external alliance partners, agencies and other vendors
Further integrating our suite of digital, interactive solutions and services
Leading development of communication strategy and messaging plans
Collaborating on the development of measurement and metrics plan as needed
Working with our Executive Leadership Team Client Engagement Lead to build relationships and grow a new business pipeline within the client's organization
Agency-Facing Responsibilities include:
Leading our teams in developing and implementing strategic recommendations around our innovative solutions and services
Managing stakeholder expectations and communication flow with the project team
Scoping and managing risk that accurately identifies and assesses scope changes and their impact to the schedule and budget
Working with team leads to define and document the overall scope of internal projects
Essential Skills and Experience:
Degree is in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field
5+ years of demonstrated track record of developing and growing client relationships - strong client references are necessary
Strong knowledge or experience in marketing and advertising, with particular emphasis on interactive media, strategy and analytics
Creative thinking and analytical problem solving
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Track record of leadership, coaching and mentoring abilities
Proven ability to manage projects to successful completion, multi-task, and work within tight deadlines
Sound business acumen; strategic skills; common sense
Ability to lead a team effectively and provide direction to other members on the team
Strong negotiation skills
