The Marin Professional Account Executive will be responsible for quota attainment and sales efforts for Marin Professional. They will work closely with prospective clients with the appropriate spend level to uncover the prospect"s needs and requirements, assess the state of current search, display and social programs and develop sales strategies to win new business. This position reports directly to the Marin Professional Sales Manager.
Engage prospects and achieve sales progress with a broad number of opportunities.
Manage your own pipeline and be responsible for the execution of Marin Professional sales to all prospects
Articulate the value and total cost of ownership of Marin Professional to prospects
Manage sales-cycle and present Marin Professional via the web and face to face as required
Sell to a diverse, enterprise-class audiences ranging from C-Level to Marketing Execs to Search Managers.
Forecast sales activity in our CRM platform, Salesforce.com.
Work with a monthly, quarterly and yearly quota Develop and sustain knowledge of Marin Software"s offerings and associated technologies
Attend trade shows and conferences as required
Ability to work flexible hours (GMT), calling into UK prospects
3-5 years of quota carrying sales experience ideally in online media, software, software-as-a-service (SaaS) or other subscription based services
Demonstrable track record of over-achieving quota (top 10-20% of company)
Search Marketing industry experience advantageous but not mandatory
High degree of integrity and professionalism.
Hard worker, self motivated and ambitious to succeed in a professional sales environment
Ability to work in a fast pace, team environment is key.
Must be team player.
Strong computer skills, including Salesforce.com, Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel
Experience in Search Engine Marketing, Search Engine Optimization, Online Marketing, eCommerce or Analytics.
This is an on-site, full time salaried position located in Austin, TX. Compensation depends on prior experience. Marin pays market-leading compensation. Marin Software provides Equity participation, comprehensive health plans including medical, vision and dental, in addition to generous PTO and reimburses 50% of monthly commuting costs for parking and/or mass transit up to the IRS limitations.
